I just bought this plane on the MSFS marketplace, but whenever I’m trying to start a flight in this plane, MSFS just freezes.
All other planes work fine.
Is anybody else experiencing something like this?
There’s a current issue at the Marketplace end of things.
So MSFS has had problems with encryption on the WASM component of the aircraft.
The encryption is borked AFAIK and that’s what causes the freeze/CTD
This is also why the other store versions of the 414 are fine, as they don’t do this extra step.

Did MS/Asobo confirm that they are working to solve this issue or have they not acknowledged it yet?
Usually they put up a banner when they ack a problem, but there’s a pretty active thread in the general forum about people being unable to get online services that’s ongoing.
I doubt MS would acknowledge that.
According to the FSW Discord, FSW have sent the Marketplace a version of the C414 without the WX Radar WASM code and that should work fine.
They are now waiting for the Marketplace to make available.
EDIT: As this is related to the WASM radar file, I wonder if choosing another livery (that doesn’t use the WX radar) would be a workaround? Maybe the GNS530, or the GTN750? I’m not on Xbox, so I don’t know what’s available.
You are not alone. I can’t use it after the SU11 update. I put in the same flight for loads of different planes (all worked fine) but this one just hangs when loading the flight. I am hoping a patch will be released soon. I did try deleting and reinstalling but it made no difference.
I think the problems are with the Garmin 530 models. Try it with another models.

That was the issue!
I just tried to load the plane with GTN750 and it worked. Once I switched back to GNS530 the sim froze again.

Yup, thanks for the advice. Spot on! Anything with the Garmin 530 just freezes but the others work fine.
Yet another reason not to buy aircraft from the Marketplace when you have a choice.
I just got this one and see the upgraded GNS530 from the MP is a little incompatible with it in the way where the NAV button won’t work. Reverting back to default and it works fine. Beware installing the new avionics upgrade.

Interesting to read about the wasm issue affecting the loading in to a flight with the 414. As I am seeing the exact same thing. It just loads on a flight and never gets there. The simulator has to be killed from windows desktop.
SU11 does indeed have wasm/encryption issue going on. The newly released A310 has been hit as well. In it’s case, the aircraft loads, but has a huge performance hit on people’s systems because there is no compiled code being generated. The 414 is different in that the same thing (wasm/encryption) is blocking the flight from actually starting. I have no idea why they would be different though.
I did note from SU11 release notes that there had been a few wasm changes to the sim so I guess something got messed up.
I suspect they may need a hotfix for SU11, but there appear to be quite a few issues needing patched according to the zendesk known issues list (which interestingly doesn’t mention wasm as an issue!). So it may take some time for a hotfix to come out to address them all..
This all highlights what happens when there is a fixed deadline to market and no sensible timeframe for beta testing ahead of a release.
Is anyone getting a lot of stuttering while using the TDS GTN750 after SU11? I can run the PMS750 or GTN530 and everything is extremely smooth but if I switch to the TDS navigator it stutters a lot. All other planes with the TDS system run great, it’s just the 414. Any ideas?
I was doing okay with it yesterday.
I have had to re-install the TDS before when things were weird with it in general.

Flysimware C414AW Chancellor Version 3.4.0 is available to download from FSW. Report any installation issues in the community support channel. Change log is included in zip and on the website.

V3.3.4 frees up the stuck mixture control levers I was seeing on V3.3.3 on PC.
I was getting excited at being able to fly it again, but took off and set AP on heading mode which was fine for first 5 mins of flight then then I found after a while heading mode dial wouldn’t change the heading, it would move the heading indicator a little then spring back/revert to original heading. I’ll give it another try layer, but seemed like a bugged state.
Not enjoying all the annoying bugs in SU11. I have to say.
My first launched flight in a heli had zero engine sounds requiring a FS reboot to fix.
My second flight in 414 had thermals being shown in blue streaks coming up from the ground & needed reboot to fix.
My third flight in 414 and the heading bug starts flaking out.
This sim sometimes feel like a never ending debug of beta software. It’s certainly impacting my flying time.
I have not seen any issues with with the 414 since SU11 on PC, with the exception of the TDSGTN750 locking up or going blank. I restarted the GTN app and that fixed it.
Yesterday I flew with the Garmin 530 WT mod, the only problem a had was the autopilot nav option didn’t work.
I assume it was an issue with the wt mod.
As of the most recent update the 414 is no longer flyable with auto-pilot. Every time I turn on the autopilot, the plane immediately goes into a nosedive. I have restarted multiple times and tried with different settings. The pitch control wheel does nothing, and is locked at “-4” in the UI when I hover over it, no matter if I move it or how (scroll wheel vs click and drag both do nothing).
