I had problems with both aircraft until I removed the WTGNS530 update via content manager. Everything was fine afterwards and remains so.
Yeah, I heard WT can cause issues, but I don’t have it.
I have opened a ticket with JF. Will report if anything interesting comes out of it.
I dont have it either and never did. Came as part of a wider sim update, so it might be an idea to have a look in your content manager (or should that be contempt manager?) Was about 7 or 8mb as I remember. It is worth a look.
You might want to check your content manager on that.
The WT 530 was supposed to be an opt-in early access beta in the MP when SU11 dropped. I was told by the PMS50 dev that Asobo accidentally set it to automatic install for a few days, so you may actually have it even though you didn’t choose to install it.
Thanks. I double checked–the Content Manager says I do not have WT 530 installed. JF ticket is in progress…
does anybody have a problem with the EFB/Tablet ?
Mine is unclickeable and I tried switching the interaction mode to lock (instead of the legacy one I use all the time, and the tablet became blank/white)
Purchsed from Marketplace, cannot get it to work since day one.
Are you using any avionics mods, such as the GTN750, GNS430/530, G3000 etc? My first port of call would be to remove all of these and try again. For me, the PMS GNS430/530 was causing a conflict, and I had no tablet or any other screens on various aircraft, including the 414.
It’s also worth noting, that since yesterday’s AAU1 update, the G3000 and GNS430/530 mods are no longer compatible with the sim.
I removed the G3000 mod from WT before updating the sim yesterday however the issue is not new, I had it since launch.
I don’t have any other avionic mods, I tried reinstalling the 414, removing the aircraft local cache too, but nothing changed.
I’m surprised I couldn’t find anyone with the same problem yet.
I’ll turn off all my mods just in case…
Ah. I was sure it would be a conflict with an avionics mod. Yeah I guess your next step is to remove everything from your community folder. Hopefully you can find whatever is causing it.
Actually, I’m just after thinking, the Heavy Division 787 mod is another one that is notorious for causing conflicts. Do you have that installed?
I have that one, I will try to pinpoint the mod that’s causing this, if any…
I’ll report later, thanks!
Ah ok. Well definitely worth trying removing that mod first, before you go down the painful route of removing everything and testing each addon one by one. Good luck with it.
The 787 Heavy mod seems to interfere with a lot of stuff, and now, who knows what issues the new AAU1 update is causing for 3rd party avionics (or rather, which 3rd party vendors need to update their avionics…)
Excellent. Glad you got sorted mate. I parted ways with the 787 mod a long time ago. I keep it on the desktop jusy for whenever I feel the urge to take the 787 for a spin.
yeah, I’ll keep it deactivated using Addon linker by default from now on, only to use it if I want to fly it.
Thanks again
I could use the help of someone familiar with this type of bird.
So I thought the engine failure type stuff was not modeled with this aircraft but after what would be a terrifying flight over the Alps with horrible weather tonight, something went wrong with my engines. Left engine rpm was always lower than right after a certain point during the flight. I could never bring it to the same rpm, and this was in line with the amount of fuel left engine was burning. It was always less.
When I finally landed at St. Gallen before shutting down, I tried a couple of engine run ups and it was still the same.
A single fuel pump on ?
On your climb out and cruise, did you stick to 35 inches and 31 for the cruise? Seem to remember a while ago that somebody was saying that they had issues after leaving the levers in the loud corner.
This could be the problem, I might’ve pushed it a bit haha, I will check and see if it was thanks.
Random question. Should I be able to change pitch of propeller -both ways- with engine (EDIT - and batt) off. Is it oil pressure driven to push forward again?
