Yes and I absolutely love it! Just like in the Milviz 310 the red lines have some meaningful things to tell, instead of being just some simple arcade plane.
Remember this before talking up Carenado offerings.
100% agree - reading some comments about the interior make me laugh.
Claims of “immersion breaking” are too funny.
Lets get back to the flying of this beast through a beautiful world.
Would somebody be kind enough to send me a nudge when this gets back to the aircraft please? I am off for now…
And now he’s ignoring you as well. I don’t think he cares how annoying he is.

Thank you, sir.
Looks like the coast is clear, so therefore I am back. Currently on a X country with the latest version and after two initial CTDs which may or may not be related, everything is looking great. I love the modified flight model, the autopilot (through both Streamdeck and also the Logitech Multi Panel) works well and without the need for direct intervention on the cockpit panel to kick things into line, which was a slight frustration beforehand but not now. Currently at FL240 to check out the new mixture control and everything works seemingly very well indeed and is easy to optimise through the EGT gauge. Dependant on winds of course, she goes like a rocket. Last on the set of tests for today, is an RNAV recovery into EGCC and by the look of things, my glorious TDS GTN750xi says that I had better pull my finger out and get the descent organised. And no, I never looked back once…
And later… Mission complete. A pretty much flawless first day out and a thoroughly enjoyable two and a half hours. It issnt often these days where you can simply go and fly without recourse to workarounds or other limitations imposed by either the sim or the model, but today was one of them. With new benchmarks for aircraft recently, the 414 is a thoroughly good buy and one that will be used for a very very long time. Any hiccups and I will of course let you know.
The developers are LIVE on Youtube messing around with the autopilot. Interesting inside look at things.
Im seriously considering this but Ive being spoilt by the Milviz C310R …are the sounds and flight dynamics on par with the 310R?
I think the 414 sounds are better, but I honestly don’t remember how the 310 sounds. When choosing between the 414 or the 310, (and most other aircraft) the 414 is more appealing to me. I just never feel the desire to fly the 310.
Ok cheers…looks like another aircraft for my bulging hangar then!
you should definitelly try the 310. Probably one if not the best aircraft on MSFS.
I have it, I just don’t enjoy it as much at the 414. (I wouldn’t have made a comparison with an aircraft I don’t own…which there aren’t many. I own almost every aircraft.) I think it probably has more to do with the aircraft itself than the quality. I just enjoy this one more.
I have both the 414 and 310 and honestly there is a struck match between the 2 in terms of quality. If you are into state saving then the 310 has the edge there. But the 414 is just a gorgeous AC especially the interior. I also find myself gravitating towards the 414 more often…it’s just such a beast of a plane lol.
My advice…buy both.
In my opinion, the 310 can be had in the hangar and the 414 must be had.
I have both too and although the 310 is an epic item for the sim, I fly the 414 much more often. It has a larger envelope with consequent performance gains, a great avionics fit, really enjoyable flight model etc. but mkst of all, it has the feel of an old shoe, in that it is just so comfortable to operate. I feel at home in this one.
The Cessna 414 is absolute top-notch quality and a must-have luxury private plane class, the Cessna 310 is some optional small twin-prop.
The system depth is absolute fantastic, the Cessna Chancellor remembers the previous amount of fuel from the last flight, and after refueling the fuel can be added to the fuel flow computer gauge.
The flight dynamics are not as good. This is the 310’s strong point and I’m glad for that because to me it’s one of the most important aspects. The 414 is not bad but it’s obviously still in beta and it’s acknowledged that improvements are still required in this area. The 414 sound pack is one of the best I’ve heard and is hard to top. Again the 310 is not bad for sound, in fact it’s rather good but the 414 IMHO is even better.
I would actually like the 414 better than the 310 if it wasn’t for one major point: faults and damage. Flying the 414 is actually boring compared to the 310 because you know: nothing will happen (except the sims proprietary engine damage and flight envelope caused damage). Due to that fact I fly only aircraft that have a damage/fault simulation - Boeing 247, C310, Fenix 320, PMDG DC 6 and 737.
