Force feedback support

Is there anybody out there who has managed to get force feedback (Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 in particular) working in FS2024?

I have been using XP-Force in FS2020 in the past and had some small hopes that it might also recognise FS2024 (via Simconnect) - but no luck so far.

EDIT: IT SEEMS TO WORK AFTER ALL!!! Need to do some further testing though…

To Microsoft & Asobo: We need native support for force feedback. I know it‘s (still) a pretty small target group but for people who are being serious about flight simulation, it should be an absolute no-brainer.

With new and more or less affordable force feedback hardware becoming available, Microsoft Flight Simulator is lagging behind other Simulators (Both DCS and Condor Soaring Simulator) have native support and it‘s amazing. As a real world pilot and former flight instructor, nothing is more important than being able to feel the aerodynamic forces on the controls and being able to trim the aircraft properly by removing the loads on the stick. At one point, it was promised for FS2024 and I really hope that despite the recent and rather negative comments from Asobo, it will still arrive at one point. While in a way it should be included in the base product, I understand that it might be difficult to justify the development because only a handful of customers will be able to profit from it. My suggestion would be to develop it as an expansion that hardcore sim pilots can purchase.

Of course, a good third party payware solution is also welcome (although I think that native support would ultimately be the best way)

Thanks and kind regards

Patrik
