Forever Hang on Customize Identity Screen

Day after day I try, and day after day I never get past ‘Customize Identity’. I don’t even get into the Identity, I just look at title screen.
And I see no response or suggestions of a work around, or any concern from Devs . . . what is going on?

Did you try to delete & re-install the game?

I have been avoiding that, has it worked for anybody?

Uninstalled/reinstalled, still ‘low bandwidth’ and never got past Customize Identity . . .
Starting to remind me of Ubisoft’s fiasco with Blazing Angels. Nothing really got fixed.

Well, I never get to the avatar, just stare at the customize identity screen . . .
I will give this a try.
I have renamed my community folder and deleted my stream packages folder to no avail.
I wonder why clients are being told to rummage through their files and attempt fixes while the developers scratch their heads and cash our checks.
