Forum managers, as of today (Jan 30, 2024), I am getting constant errors just loading this forum in a web browser. I have tested on multiple browsers, and multiple devices, cleared all history etc. I’m only able to post this after attempting to load the forum for a while.
There are 2 errors (see screen shots)

I’m on the forums several years already and I never experienced this Ooops message before, not even during the biggest issues after major upgrades, with super heavy traffic on the forums. Possibly the bandwidth is now shared with the update and throttled.

Happened to me, too. A few hours ago, I couldn’t access the forum with MS Edge, from which I’m automatically logged in when I click a Favorite. But with Chrome, where I’m just an anonymous visitor not logged in, I could access the MFSF Site. As soon as I tried to log in with Chrome, I got the same Error 500.
The ironic thing about the “Error 500” is the message suggested you log feedback. But then the nature of the error blocks your access to the website. Someone in the web admin dept needs to rethink that advice and provide a better way of reporting site inaccessibility in the error message! 
I did submit an error report to Windows Feedback Hub as a roundabout way of getting the message to the folks running this site.
Yep can confirm this is happening to me too, intermittently
I reported this bug earlier and was told it was because of WU16. I doubt that is the case, since this started for me on 1/29/2024 and WU16 was released 1/30/2024. Forum Not Loading

I am writing you now about an issue who prevented me from entering your forum, just before opening this post.
I am an Xbox user, but the issue appeared on my phone every time i tried to access your forum via app.
An error message appear.
You will see it in the screenshots below.
Updated yesterday 02+02-2024:
Even yesterday I was unable to access the MSFS Forums without the error Oops message.
Now that i am able again to access it i hope that this outage issues is gone.
Yes happened to me too, sinds yesterday evening (world update 16).
Log in and log out sometimes helped , but mostly not. 
I am also having the same issue, and will be elevating it today to the relevant team. The current issues with the forum are not related to the WU16 release yesterday.

I have the same problem as the OP.
For me this happens irregularly. Most of the time since yesterday i get this error message (“Sorry, we couldn’t load taht topic, …”), but at the moment it seems to work again … hence I can post that I have the problem too 
…
I’m also getting the same issue. It started last night around 8pm (GMT)
Error 500. with this screen displaying.
I can confirm the HTTP error 500, and/or threads not loading, seems to be related to being logged in. It happens less to me when logged out, but I still get some errors while clicking on threads.
Also, when creating a new topic (If I can get that far), while typing there is an error pop up saying “this topic is being editted in another window” or something to that effect, which is not true. It then says it has failed to create the topic, but in fact it has created the topic.
No issue loading the main flightsimulator.com website, just the forum.
I tried logging out then back in. It helped for a bit, but then reverted back to the error 500, and also not being able to access threads due to failed to connect to server.
Another variation, if it helps diagnosis:

Happened to me last night as well and occasionally today
Still happening regularly to me today.
Still happening to me intermittently as of 12:23pm central time with DuckDuckGo browser on Android phone.
