TLDR: I’ve developed the Dynamic Global Flight Dispatcher (for MSFS 2024), a free, browser-based tool designed to remove the friction from flight planning in MSFS 2024.

Key Features

Selectable Target Flight Time: Use the slider to choose a target flight duration of 60, 90, or 120 minutes. The dispatcher automatically scales the route distance and calculates appropriate altitude increases to match your selected timeframe (Note: Helicopter missions are unaffected by this slider and default to approx. 25 minutes).
Extensive Scenery Database: Features a massive airport database, including the full Asobo hand-crafted airport database, Contrail, iniBuilds and ORBX MSFS 2024 catalogues, and a selection of curated 3rd-party/freeware locations. Links are provided.
Searchable Aircraft Fleet: Supports over 70 aircraft ranging from helicopters and light GA to business jets, turboprops, airliners, and warbirds.
Airframe-Specific Missions & Job Tickets: Flight generation is tailored to your aircraft type (GA, Warbird, Business Jet, Turboprop, Passenger, Cargo, or Helicopter). It includes 100 diverse mission types that are matched to civilian and military aircraft.
Automated MTOW Logic & Loadsheets: Passenger and cargo loads are dynamically calculated with automated payload checks to ensure you never exceed maximum takeoff weight.
Advanced Flight Profiling: Smart logic calculates safe cruising altitudes based on route distance and a built-in global mountain range safety floor. Flight rules dynamically switch between VFR and IFR depending on the generated cruise altitude.
Custom Departure Override: Leave the departure blank for a completely random route, or enter a specific ICAO to generate a flight departing from your current location. (*airports can be added to custom database)
Custom Owned Airports Filter Simply paste in a comma-separated list of the ICAOs for the payware or freeware airports you own. When you enable the filter, the dispatcher will automatically prioritize generating flights that depart from or arrive at your specific/ favourite airports.
Native MSFS .PLN & SimBrief Export: Automatically send your generated flight plan directly to SimBrief, or generate and download a native MSFS .pln file, perfect for helicopters, warbirds, or users without a SimBrief subscription.
Helicopter Operations: Full support for rotary-wing operations, including helipad-to-helipad dispatch and local A-to-A sightseeing, news, and patrol missions.
Custom Database & Backups: Expand the tool yourself by adding custom airframes and airports directly via the UI. Export and import your custom database configuration as a .json backup file.
Customisable Interface: Toggle between Light and Dark mode, save your preferred ATC callsign, and adjust the UI accent colour.
