No, I do not have to start over with this, there are options to exclude/delete pre-existing stuff but in the case of EHEH there was nothing so I haven’t used those options yet.
Now the response AwesomeBlack533 got, they talked about an exclusion zone, but under the airport settings, there are a bunch more options to use so I am not sure if they actually meant the DeleteAirport attribute.
Since NaviGraph seem to only add a runway, I’ll try using the “deleteAllRunways” only and see if that helps, in this case I do not have to re-add current existing nav points.
I am using that website for the most up to date charts, but the two “Aerodome Ground Movement Charts” that I found showing at least some taxi information is not listed so I used the ones from Jul 2019. Of course, I am no pilot myself so I have no idea of taxiway L1 is even used by airliners or perhaps only permittable for certain weights (I have not set any weight limits yet on the taxiways).
I’m confused too now, because the Jeppesen Charts still show restrictions on taxiway L1 and R6.
However both LVNL eAIP and RNLAF Mil AIP does not mention any restrictions.
Note the “old 2019” chart mentioned “L1 and R6” may only used by CAT A till C aircraft.
B737 is a CAT C aircraft, which is 90% of the airliner traffic at Eindhoven.
So for aircraft A310/B767 (CAT D) and larger these restrictions apply (if still valid).
Need to know what the value this weight limit is on the taxiways. In addition, I read somewhere that this month, an update of the SDK comes out so hopefully there is more info regarding this. Also “closed” taxiways seem to be ignored by ATC and are used. I will leave the taxiway routing, via L2 -> R3 for now. However, I need to eventually work with weight limits, as the single prop birds from the Aero Club use L2 instead of L1.
No, I have seen that info, as said before I am using the same website mainly. What I was talking about is the in-game SDK setting of the taxiway weight limit, it is a numerical value and not a “strength” classification.
Ooh, that is some nice info, I’ll see if I can get something worked out, where A, B, and C can use L1 and otherwise L2 → R3 → R1 or R7 for class D, E, and F. On Google maps you do see a smaller aircraft (jet) taxi from R2 to R so it went over L2 → R2 directly.
This will be after 0.8, want to release at least an update soon with the 2020 version of the civil apron and some visual changes to the taxiways If only someone could actually explain how I can create custom apron decals and create custom line textures and how to actually place them
So I found out what caused these crashes to happen finally last night with my ILS code, but it raised another;
By moving the waypoints to after but before
It did not crash my game anymore when selecting ILS as approach during the flightplanning process.
However it did start another issue;
When I had the waypoints in data, upon approach the ATC would tell me to do an RNAV landing or give me the option to do another approach like ILS (though that one caused a crash).
However when i moved the waypoints to after ATC would only give me Visual Approach as option during landing, but I was able to select ILS approach on flightplanning.
So as you can read, by moving it I fixed one thing but broke another
Last but not least, if I open the airport in dev mode (project and open the scene), when saving the scene it removes the waypoints as they are after
Hi,
I’m one of the single prop birds users at EHEH (RL) . In most cases we use R2 when rwy 21 is in use. If it makes things easier for you, please disregard our taxi routing. As far as I know, all airliners taxi via L1 to rwy 21. Airliners taxi via R6 or R7 when rwy 03 is in use.
Ah makes sense. When I did some taxi in the sim there already thought it was strange to taxi that close to the MilAp. Totally overlooked Uniform haha. Thanks
Using custom texture, finally starting to figure out some stuff by randomly trying stuff lol, but it works at least for now as an additional texture on the painted lines.
I have no idea yet how I am able to place additional apron decals, such as parking number (S1 - S14), I have created a test texture with a few decals but I am unable to place them yet properly.
It is still 29.6°C in my room, my PC has been sounding like an airplane all evening just having MSFS open in Dev Mode without any live players
Interesting, after installing the (current) Free Airport “EDPL Paderborn Lippstadt Airport” from the MSFS Marketplace, I can use the objects they have created. In this case I might use the GS antenna, the TACAN house, and the anemometer objects
(looks like Transavia is following the same path )
One thing I haven’t figured out yet, if you do an IFR to another airport, radio frequency for ILS is already filled in, thats not the case on EHEH, so need to figure that part out
