I think that truck is the one driving around as moving airport traffic.

Does anyone know the ILS frequency for RWY05? Only found 109.55, but that is not correct?!

Thanks! Checked flightplandatabase.com, wikipedia and some other sources, only found 109.55.

Airport has been updated to 0.6.1.

I’m very happy to announce some iconic-Lelystad improvements are included: the PH-BUK has a base texture, the F104 in front of Aviodrome has its distinctive emergency orange colouring, and more.

It’s great! So much better than the standard EHLE in FS2020 which is nothing like the real airport at all. Makes practicing Mike arrivals and Bravo departures much more fun.

Small request would it be possible to enable ai copilot taxi to and from parking. thanks for this great mod.

That is something that will absolutely be included in a future update! I can’t say exactly when but stay tuned.

0.6.3 is released.

User Garfield provided the textures for Wings Over Holland and I’m astounded how it turned out! Other improvements include base textures for the Dauphin, and more-or-less-final textures for the PH-BUK.

Great work and a joy to fly in to Lelystad Airport now.
Question.

  1. Are you planing to work on the Texture of the Fokker 50 on display at the entrance of the Aviodrome and give it the original Fokker 50 prototype texture
  2. Are you planning to work on the Fokker 50 underlying texture to eliminate the strange effect of the aircraft shape.

If you need detailed pitures of the Fokker 50 just ask.

  1. Absolutely! Texturing (not only the aircraft but all the buildings as well) is a massive undertaking. It’s on the list!
  2. Yep, my plan for now is get the essential basics done and then go back for detail textures etc.

I appreciate any reference pictures you want to share! The more the better!

A very special thanks to users Garfield and Vlammetje for providing textures and/or assests I’ve used in this rendition! I really appreciate it!

The textures for several buildings are (hopefully) noticably better and more professional than the first iteration. I’m very, very pleased with how the textures are turning out, but there are more than 60 buildings to do at the airport so please bear with myself and Garfield as we work through them one by one.

Updated features:

  • Fixed shiny reflective roof textures (finally! This has been bugging me for ages)
  • Rebuilt HeliCentre (East) model (not textured yet)
  • Rebuilt ANWB model (not fully textured yet)
  • Aviodrome jetway textures
  • Taxiway/apron alignment
  • Aviodrome main exhibit building textures
  • HeliHolland building rebuilt (not textured yet)

Added features:

  • Runway guard lights (blinking)
  • PH-BUK red warning light
  • Streetsigns (WIP)

Issues:

  • The FATO/Helex is still going to be tweaked to match the satellite textures!
  • I have not fixed the truck spawning on top of the other near the tower. Will look into it and how ground services should work soon.
  • Light intensity of various lights needs to be adjusted.
  • Haven’t figured out LODs for the visual pattern markers yet, will also be coming soon.
  • The real-life Prekas hangar building has been demolished, still debating whether or not to remove it from the scenery.
  • I’ve found a more precise way to model buildings so there’s a few I’ll be redoing. Rebuilt buildings are without textures at the moment.
  • The entire taxiline ā€œnetworkā€ will eventually be redone using custom textures and meshes, for now only about half of the southern side of the airport has the new lines, but since the alignment is off I’ve hidden the mesh until I’ve worked that out. This does mean that a there will be a handful of missing lines around the D-apron for now.
  • There is only one streetsign at the moment, the rest will come shortly of course!
