From XBox to Pc

Hi flying buddies!

I started flying sim in 2007

Then for study and work reasons I stopped, Finally FS2020 came to Xbox and I started again. I am missing all the wide range of benefit of a PC vs Xbox.

Would you help me build my own? I would prefer amazon,it link for products (unless they are really over average price in market)

I made a list,

GPU

MB

CPU

SSD

Case

RAM

Cooling

Power Source

What is your budget in US dollars?

well 2.000 would ok

  • Case includes 4 fans.
  • RAM is on the motherboard QVL
  • 7800X3D is still a good choice. The 9800X3D won’t fit your budget. You definitely want an X3D CPU.
  • The Thermalright is an excellent CPU air-cooler and an amazing value. I’ve had one myself and it performed beautifully.
  • The 4070 Ti Super is a good GPU. I wouldn’t go lower. I’m an nVidia guy, but there are some good AMD GPU options in that same price range. Whatever GPU you choose should have three fans.
  • Good solid power supply.

I’d be happy with this build. Does not include OS, monitor, keyboard, or mouse.

You picked a motherboard that requires DDR5 ram, but you picked DDR4 ram which won’t work.

Also your SSD pick is seriously outdated tech.

After checking those two points, I gave up checking the rest.

You will most likely need someone local to build it for you anyway, so why not get them to help pick the right parts? Cheaper than frying a cpu.

No. It’s DDR5.
Drive storage doesn’t have to be the latest and greatest. He has a budget.
If you aren’t comfortable assembling a PC, you should definitely get someone to build it, using parts you select. But “frying a CPU”? Only an idiot would do that.

Nope DDR4

Crucial Pro RAM DDR4 64GB Kit (2x32GB) 3200MHz, Intel XMP 2.0, Memoria PC RAM

Also the power supply is the cheapest POS bronze rated junk.

From your link, it’s Crucial Pro RAM DDR4 64GB Kit (2x32GB) 3200MHz, Intel XMP 2.0, Memoria PC RAM

That’s a direct cut-n-paste from the link on Amazon in the original post.

I see the confusion. barbra looked at the OP’s links, but didn’t make it clear that she was replying to his post, and not the one I posted directly above her first comment.

The point is to learn…it’s long time i do not assemble a PC

It’s not that hard to do.
I have faith in you, my Italian friend. :grinning:

For MSI X670E motherboards, such as the Tomahawk series, WD SN770 are not recommended due to issues with detection.

You chose SN850X, which also has known problems with detection. Additionally, it’s not worth buying the SN850 either.

Please choose a different SSD if you want to avoid potential issues.

Looks good!

FYI, there’s currently a discount on a 1000W power supply from MSI – I highly recommend it because they make excellent power supplies. I own two myself and they work without any issues.
