FS Realistic was just released

Same issue for me with turbulence affecting the vertical camera position changing over time. I reverted to v2.0.2 as a workaround. It seems the adjustments made after version 2.0.2 for users reporting the camera moves up after turbulence is now affecting users with the camera moving down during turbulence.

It’s not moving in a constant direction and going off centre for me, more like I’m attached to an asphalt flattening machine on overdrive.

Hey Captains,

  • The issue of the camera constantly moving should be fixed in the coming version. Until then, as a workaround, make sure your MSFS height setting is set to 50.
  • In regard to the aggressive turbulence, we are checking it right now, in case it will be an easy fix, it will be included in the coming version.
  • In regard to the windshield wind effect mentioned issue, we will take a look as well right now.
  • Good news for the one who requested to have the ability to disable an effect globally, see attached screenshot.

Cheers!

Excellent!

Hey Captain,

The issues you mentioned are taking place since the developers of these aircraft do not update the VNE (never exceed speed) value in MSFS SDK, therefore FSRealistic gets it as 0 (Zero) and it breaks many calculations behind the scenes - such as the airframe wind, turbulence and more.

We managed to find the VNE value in a different way, however, we are unable to fully guarantee this value will be as accurate as the original VNE value by MSFS SDK. Looks like it will solve most of the problems tho.

Cheers.

Sounds good!

Thank you very much, that saves my nerves immensely when I forget to turn off this sneeze on a plane.

Hey Captain, all the issues you’ve mentioned are fixed and will be included in the coming version.

Short question: I’ve almost used-up my trail version. Where (and how) can I get the full version?
I still can’t reach the FS-Realistic website. Is the latest version already active on Sim-Market?

Thanks in advance.

I am so impressed by this dev and software, and especially their customer service and attitude. :+1:

Cant wait to try the newest update.

We are yet to have set up an HTTPS for fsrealistic.com (it is just an informative website, nothing really to be secured), check you are using HTTP at the beginning of the URL and it should work fine. We will add HTTS regardless soon. Thanks.

Actually, not entirely true. You’re nuking your SEO (and product discoverability) by not being on HTTPS, it’s one of the criteria Google++ use to rank sites now as a basic reliability/trust measure. You should do it asap for that reason alone.

Not only that. Many modern browsers refuse to load a website if there is no https version available. They then display an error message, leading many users to think the url is wrong or the site is dead.

Not having an https enabled website in 2022 is pretty much like having no website at all.

Thanks captains, HTTPS is activated.

Thanks! I just downloaded version 2.0.5. using the link in the e-mail.

Can I delete (uninstall) the Demo-version and use the activation code I (assume I) get via Sim-Market (after I bought it there)?

Sorry, but unable to download via that link inside the e-mail

the link works perfectly:
first a FSRealistic page appears - click on download - then another window opens and click on “download” again at the bottom right.

Thx, because of your answer I investigated my stuff here and it helped
“noScript” was running in my browser background

Cheers
