Of course, the reinstall worked for me, would be really annoying if it didn’t.
I wonder if something got corrupted after a package update or something, really weird.

I’ve resisted as far as I could, tried everything suggested at forums (Run As Admin, checked System Locale, DISM file checker, disabling Windiows Defender, disabling non-microsoft apps,…)
But nothing worked, I too had to reinstall everything. And that solved the issue.

Same issue here. Running windows 11. It might work sometimes but then, especially after a longer flight +30mins I shutdown the plane and hit escape and bam… The blue bar moves about 1/3 and stays stuck there. Only option is to kill Msf2020 … Very annoying… Many hours of flight also not logged… I guess I need to plan for a full msf2020 reinstall…
What was your reinstall procedure? Just go in apps and uninstall msf2020?
Yes. And I did a disk cleanup afterwards.
Happening with almost every flight now, long or short, gets stuck about a third through loading back to main menu. Xbox X, just been installed, no add-ons

Since update 14, the sim freezes when I try to exit to main menu. I have to shut down with task manager and and restart the sim.
Close a flight, shut down AC, hit ESC and Return to Main Menu - Sim freezes and must be exited by Task Mgr then restarted.
PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant: Windows 10 64 BIT

I have the same issue. All the flight data gets lost.
No add-ons here either, just a few marketplace jet fighters. It barely goes to 50% after ending a flight and then just remains stuck.
You would think Asobo would have rolled out a fix by now.
Getting this issue today for the first time. I abandoned a flight and the loading screen remains with the blue bar and never getting to the home screen. Only way out is to kill it with Task Manager.
Windows 11 here and Steam version.
No addons except a few things from the market place all fully updated and the PMDG 737s all updated as well.
Really frustrating.
