FS2020 A320neo How to adjust "Toggle Instrument View {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,}

I have looked everywhere to fix this problem.
My CTRL-x points me at some unwanted instruments or views of the rear of the cockpit.
HOW do I change these views?
And, I do not want to use the Custom Views ( which use ALT ).
This used to work fine but now doesn’t so I certainly must have changed some switch.
Any help will be really appreciated.

Take a look here:

In order to change the input keys to toggle your custom cameras, you will need to go into your Controls Settings. Under your Keyboard profile search in the Assigned search bar for “Custom”.
Under the Cockpit Camera tab, you will see multiple “Load Custom Camera” settings. Change them all from ctrl+alt+1 or ctrl+alt+2 to 1, 2, 3, 4.

Now you can go into your plane and set up custom views by placing your camera using your set controls and pressing ctrl+alt+1 to save that position to Custom View 1, ctrl+alt+2 for Custom View 2, and so on. (If you don’t know which keys to use to move you views around, they can be found under the Cockpit Camera tab and translate up/down/left/right, look up/down/left/right)

Then check to see that 1, 2, and 3 pull up your preset views. That’s all. You can change them on the go, its that easy.

I personally use alt+1, alt+2 for Custom Views because whenever I press 1 or 2 on my keyboard for other things, I don’t want my view to change spontaneously.

Dave, thanks for your post, much appreciated.

However, I was hoping to find out how to change the Default views acquired by CTRL-1,2,3,etc.
They have now changed and are really useless.
How do I change those is my main goal here.
Thanks

If you feel up to it, cameras.cfg might be your friend. It’s non trivial, though, and might involve using the Developer mode and lots of trial and error. idk how the views defined in cameras.cfg are assigned to the default views.

Thanks for the idea but it is a bit much.
There must be some way to bring back the previous set of views.

Thanks

Did it change after a certain Sim Update? If that is the case, there isn’t anything to do. Asobo must have changed something in the aircraft’s settings that can’t be undone, unless you use the cameras.cfg file.

Dave, I have just discovered that it is connected to an update from a third party software. I am trying to dig into that to find the real source.
Thanks

Interesting, which software is that?
