I’ve had low bandwidth messages (2020) over the last couple of hours. Are they throttling 2020 for the benefit of 2024? I don’t know.

Its not unknown for big corporations to dumb down on a previous title in an effort to get more users latching onto the newest title… just saying.

Logical. It doesn’t inspire me with any confidence moving forwards. Possibly, like many I imagine, my wallet stays firmly closed until stability is achieved in both versions.

Happy to report so far so good, 3 flights in!
No disconnects or stuttering.

Just flown over London at 800’, no problems. I’ll do it again tonight at 8pm and see if the problems return when more people are online (USA?)

Whatever they did has worked, no disconnects all day.
Please keep it this way and don’t alter anything Asobo etc al.
My fear is that they are “rebooting the server” to remove the problem but not solving the underlying cause of the issue. This would explain why we’ve had 3 such events in 3 weeks. Let’s see if the problem returns in about 7 days.
Was flying in UK yesterday afternoon around 1500 GMT with no issues to report. Seems many of these posts did refer to 16/12.
Been flying for 2 hours with no problems tonight.
Also in UK, same reason, can’t play the FS since yesterday(18/12) and still can’t paly now! Frustrating!!! Why should we use VPN to solve the issue? Microsoft/Asobo pay for it?? Can Microsoft/Asobo treat the issue seriously???

Now working OK when I tried later.
Italian simmer here. It takes an eternity to load the sim. Sometimes I can fly (another eternity to load), sometimes it crashes midloading. I noticed that it can’t synchronize with Steam Cloud.
EDit: I can’t even use the Marketplace.
When occasionally I can fly, then, takes forever to exit the game. I must turn off the PC or use the Activity Monitor.
I have also problems here (france).
I was always cpu-limited, today I have a lot of stutters. I though, ok, maybe my cpu. I set practically all settings on minium (low), terrain details at 10, object details at 10, vehicules and others on minimum.
same, it looks awful, but still stutters..
Seems that servers are almost down. The loading-time is super long, saying “checking for updates”…

- internet: 400 mb/s
→ cpu peaking at 90%
→ average gpu used at 8%
→ internet used: peaking between 2 and 10 mb/s
