FS2024 CTD when adjusting Tobii Eye Tracker curves

  • Version Build Number (Where do I locate that?): 1.1.7.0

  • Game Platform (Exampe: Steam, Xbox, MS Store): MS Store

:white_check_mark: ISSUE DESCRIPTION

  1. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? No add-ons have been installed

  2. Description of the issue: The default Tobii Eye tracker curves barely register any movement on my setup, so I wanted to adjust them as I had them set for FS2020. When going to Controls/Tobii and entering Hardware settings to adjust the curve, the sim CTDs. The “Fine tune your input curve” window opens for about a second and then the sim CTDs. Repeatable – tried three times, CTD every time.

How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)

Every time I try to access the Tobii hardware settings.

:white_check_mark: REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Start FS2024 with a Tobii Eye Tracker installed and go to Settings/Controls
  2. Select the Tobii device in the left column
  3. Select the Hardware button in the right column
  4. Sim will CTD a second after the Tobii configuration screen starts to load

Crash to desktop each time I try and change settings for my Tobii eye tracker. Can not use this hardware.

PC, GPU 4080, Lauch version

Tobii eye tracker CTD while in sensitivity menu. Similar to Alpha release while attempting to make changes the the eye tracker the sim crashes. Attempted twice while entering the hardware settings menu.

I’ve submitted a report to Tobii.

funnily, MSFS has even spotlighted Tobii Eye Tracker 5, just 2 Weeks before release. I wonder why they didn’t test its functionality then.

It’s looking like Tobii is totally borked in 2024 currently. I just cannot get it to switch off eye tracking, now using open track just makes it a jittery mess, and the cockpit camera is slowly rotating left…

I have the same issue. This was present in the Alpha too. What makes this even more annoying is that MS were trumpeting Tobii in their “amazing peripherals for FS2024” marketing!!

@ MSFS could we have native support for Tobii as with 2020… already reported the CTD during the tech alpha

I have the same issue.
When I go under tobii settings under Hardware setting instead of get all the sensitivity settings I have gotten CTD,
