Same here, flying at night or dusk very uncomfortable with city lights coming through clouds in 1 eye. Very much hope this bug will be prioritized.

I was flying in perfect weather to observe this “how did they miss it?” bug.
The left eye is ignoring things like clouds or haze, etc. The right eye is behaving correctly.
Devs, you need to log this one and fix it on the next update.
Please.
Cheers!
Yes I had this again on live weather today, tilt my head to the left and the haze disappears
Yes. Msfs2024 in VR is a mess. Yesterday I godt chunks of the image from different places overlapping my view when turning my head in different directions. Its a mess when trying to click certain buttons as well. This together with the night time issue I feel like the sim is a bad copy of msfs2020. Msfs2020 with different orbx/rex addons look like a million in compariment.
Tested a flight since the patch yesterday - obviously it wasn’t fixed but since the difference between left and right eye was so heavily visible in that screenshot, I just wanted to pass it along:
On final it was even worse, I was able to see the bright runway in front of me on one eye and on the other eye there was still the cloudlayer in between and no visibility through it at all.
while night lighting is so much nicer in 2024 this bug makes it very unpleasant to fly at night, maybe with clear sky but that is that
I did some more flying, and it’s not limited to night lights.
I see the same pattern with rivers and ponds and also random objects when landing at different (sandy) grounds with particles effects around helos:
Yep, tried a night flight yesterday evening and it was quite cloudy. Got above the clouds and exactly the same thing! I had to take my Quest 3 off and shut down the PC as had a headache immediately. This is a sim-breaking bug as far as I’m concerned! How on earth did this get past the testing phase?!
It didn’t, because like everything else in VR it wasn’t tested
Super uncomfortable to look at. Please, please let this be a priority for vr fixes.
I have this too. I thought it was just mine. I honestly thought I needed to reinstall because almost everything in VR seems just as buggy. Msfs 2020 had a little of this too just not as bad. I don’t have high hopes it will get fixed.
Description of the issue:
On a night flight I was seeing the ground lights in the distance go dark on my left eye while banking to the left. This happened on every turn while flying a left-hand pattern.
[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
I have noticed on two flights.
Running DLSS Performance
[PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use?
RTX 4090 with Crystal Pimax
Missing ground lights circled in blue. It’s way more distracting than it looks in the 2D capture.

Most likely the same issue;
It feels like I’m having some kind of major medical episode when it happens.
i’m seeing heat blur (on ground) and clouds (in air) in the cockpit in the PC12 only in right eye
I wonder since it happens to lights, clouds, and exhaust gases if that points to anything specifically?
I noticed the same thing, the lights seem to be rendered differently in the left and right eye. I also noticed that the lights from other planes completely disappeared at certain head angles (very easy to see when they are going through clouds as their landing light makes a big white cone that pops in and out)
That whole light cone is way overdone for most weather conditions.
