These are currently discounted in the Marketplace and they appear to include far more than just castles, bridges, power lines, chimneys, etc. But how well do they fill out cities like Hamburg, Bremen and Stuttgart? And is it a case of spotting a POI every few minutes while flying away from cities? How is the quality of POIs as some look really good in the promo images?

I have 2 of them and found them quite nicely made with many and good POIs.
But since the SW-Germany city update was deployed (which was in April!), the FSDG-BW addon has many POI and structure glitches which forced me to uninstall it.
Therefore I will not buy any more content from them and also cannot recommend it, especially with FS2024 close now.

I haven’t checked the newest update for BW yet, but they DID update that after the City Update. It still had an issue in V1.1 though.
About the new World Update: they haven’t had time to update it as far as I know. They’re still checking for inconsistencies. Considering there are hundreds of POIs, masts and antennas in every package, this must be quite a lot of work.

All in all their packages are quite good, though also a bit pricey considering you will need approx. 9-10 packages to cover all 16 Bundesländer. Especially in BW I noticed a few landmarks that weren’t pretty - most noticably Meersburg Castle and Ulm Cathedral. However overall the qualitiy is very nice. Currently I have all of them except Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, since there are several very good freeware addons by “Kevair” for that available on flightsim.to.
Thanks. Does the Hessen/Thuringen pack add much to the Frankfurt area? I like the sound of these packs but am unsure if I’ll end up seeing what they add. Are they more for GA VFR flyers?

Frankfurt wasn’t a prority since it already has many handcrafted POIs
There was (finally) an update to the BW and MV addons this week, which corrected many of the addon-structures that were “destroyed” by the City & World Updates.
So I’d call it OK and usable again now. But there are stil some issues left to be fixed: some chimneys appear stacked (POI on top of 3D-scenery) until you get close. Same for some other POIs which do height hopping when getting near (e.g. a tower in Stuttgart city)
I don’t see those updates. The latest BW version on SimMarket is 1.10 from May.
Can you tell me your version numbers and where you got the updates from?

Seems to be version 1.11.0 now, according to the content manager ingame (steam version, MS marketplace purchase)
