Anyone else having constant issues with the FSDT installer? Instead of just letting us quickly download a .zip or .exe file, ths clunky FSDT Installer attempts to do it for you. However it seems to download every single file individually, one at a time, at speeds of around 5mbps. Whereas MSFS downloads at over 250mbps.
This results in insanely long install times, especially for something like GSX Pro which is over 6 GB total.
As you can see in the screenshot, its saying GSX Pro has apparently been at 98% for over a half hour. But at the bottom you can see every individual file being brought in, one at a time. Has anyone found a better way of doing this? Is there a way to simply download a .zip from the website or something? Thanks for any help!
UPDATE: after a few more minutes of downloading, the percentage dropped 1 point down to 97%
