Same issue with WMR HP Reverb G2. No change when going from Quality to High Performance although the smearing appears to get worse/better with level of setting. Only happens with FSR enabled. All other AA settings do not have this issue. AMD 3700X CPU, AMD 6800XT GPU, 32 GB Ram @ 3600.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Problem can’t be captured via screenshot in my experience. Screenshots look clear. It may be due to it only taking shots of the left eye though.

We are using this Beta to evaluate FSR 2.0 which is DX12 dependent.

Yes OP’s description matches what I experience

Hardware in my case: CPU: AMD5800X3D; GPU: AMD Radeon RX6900XT 22.9.2 driver; VR HMD: Vive Pro 2
Tried all FSR2 presets, and restarting the sim after changing settings, using default graphics settings. All gave same result. Right eye imaging is fuzzy/distorted and shows ghosting trails as image moves.

Yes, extreme ghosting, smearing, unusable in present state. Makes no difference whether performance, quality or balance.

Right eye goes distinctly odd - fuzzy, laggy etc. I’ve also had bad results exiting from FSR, either with the whole sim becoming extremely slow, or even freezing indefinitely. Looks like VRAM (11Gb) completely overloaded at this point. DX12, FSR2, 64Gb RAM, Quest 2, GTX1080TI.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

I get a fuzzy raster effect in the right eye - seems to affect clouds only.

I have the same results also only in my right eye.

Same Issue here:
Headset: Pimax 8kX without SteamVR, just openxr (via PimaxXR)
GPU: RX 6800 XT
CPU: AMD 5800X3D

I’m stuck at a doctor’s office.
Any chance today’s beta fixed this even though I don’t see it listed in today’s notes?

For me, it looks a bit better, but not fully fixed. Still needs more work.

At least my display didn’t go wrong as I exited FSR this time.

I basically have the same issue in my right eye when using DX12/FSR2.0.

It seems to me, that right eye view is the same - moving artifacts and so on… after 20.10 beta update
