When installing FSRealistic Pro, I am unable to set the ON and OFF in the initial settings. When I select “set” it quickly flashes “press” and then reverts to “clear” and I am unable to assign a keystroke.
In addition, when it’s running in the simulator, I am experiencing stuttering and lag with my mouse and with the aircraft.
When I turn FSRealistic off, everything works fine.
Has anyone else had any issues with FSRealistic Pro?

I suggest opening a ticket with their support. They respond quickly and actually try to help.

Yeah, I thought that someone on the forum might have a quick fix.
I think I read to check to make sure you don’t have a key or button pressed on your joystick because it will “accept” that immediately as your selection which could be what’s happening.
Also I found that the only keyboard keys that worked for me were my spacebar or the \ | key above my enter key. I tried several others that accepted the setting but never transported me out of the plane.
Looking inside FSRealistic log.txt you’ll see a name of hardware you use that continuously presses one of its buttons leading to this scenario. You’d need to momentarily disconnect this hardware, set FSRealistic with the key/button you wish, then reconnect it. Hope it helps. If not, please contact fsrealistic@gmail.com.

Hello Everyone,
I Just purchased FSRealistic Pro today based on positive reviews and I was really looking forward to these improvements but I have noticed a huge performance hit (3X reduction in FPS) on my 3080 machine when it is FSR is active; has anyone else experience this type of behavior?
I am also sending an email to fsrealistic@gmail.com; just figured that someone may have suggestion since the FS Realistic team may be away for the holiday break.

Can’t say I have. On my end it makes no difference in performance whatsoever. The graphics card should not matter for FSRealistic, but perhaps there is an issue with your sound card. They need driver updates sometimes as well.

I have this issue related to the camera: PSA: FSRealistic breaks "Reset Camera" and Camera Height in MSFS
Apparently it’s been an issue for almost half a year now. I had to stop using it for now.

Essentially when pressing “f”, no matter if MSFS is in or out of focus (e.g. if you are typing in this forum), FSRealistic will cause camera zoom to reset. It’s very annoying and I haven’t been able to find a workaround.
