FSS announce Tu-154M

This is surprising but excellent news? Used to see Balkan Holidays using one at EGCC many moons ago. No mention of console as yet.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

and now wait heh  maybe is time to refresh all skills from FSX times. hmmmm I’m curious about engineering panel. That Aeroflot livery looks perfect, Pulkovo, Bashkirian hope for them also

I was wondering what happened to this one. It was bought from another dev a year or two ago, with that dev saying that a well known and respected company is taking over. I guess here it is.

Now this is something cool! Looking forward to this!

Been waiting for a Tupolev for a long time!

Yes,

same, hope  We heard, saw many things about FSS addons quality, updates frequency and simply can only hope as usually  I still stand very careful

Something to dream about for now… On top of everything else, please get these sounds right FSS.

Exciting! Looking forward to this

Latest update (sorry, I was late to the party with this one)

There will be a few “camps” of users when this comes out:

  1. Non-Russian users of the old Project Tupolev stuff who will exclaim “back in the saddle again!” and hopefully enjoy it after knocking the knowledge rust off.

  2. Russians with deep expertise who will probably say it’s a poor effort because of any bugs, and for having an EFB. Not to paint with too broad a brush, but consistent observation shows that if an under-seat bolt is missing it’ll be deemed a major oversight by their community. It can be frustrating to see, but at the same time the strive for perfect is to be commended too. (Referencing threads I’ve read on the An-2 and the Mi-2).

  3. New users who will be absolutely perplexed at Russian/Soviet systems logic and either declare bugs where there aren’t, or it falls into disuse as too old, quirky, and complex. Hopefully some stick with it.

Oh my, about the point no.2: I vividly remember discussions on avsim.su about the project Tupolev 154. Any questions from new users were met with harsh elitism and a standard “read the FCOM” response. Funnily enough I stumbled on more than one mentions that some users migrated to english speaking forums to escape the toxicity. I hope that this project, being a rarity that a soviet plane Is made in full fidelity for a modern sim, will get a universally warm welcome.
