G1000 (in C172) does not transfer new ADF frequency

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

New ADF frequency does not transfer as expected
NOTE: This apparently does not happen for everyone.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
C172 (I have not tested other aircraft)

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. In G1000 select ADF/DME option
  2. Using the FMS knobs, tune a new frequency(e.g. 0329.0)
  3. Press ENT (exits edit mode)
  4. Press ENT again

Result: New frequency is not transferred. Old active frequency remains in green digits and new standby frequency remains in standby (reversed magenta)

I can currently not reproduce this issue. Unfortunately I have no idea what might have changed.
