G1000 MFD is not showing aircraft track or heading

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
The G1000 does not correctly show where the aircraft is pointed on the MFD. It shows a gray circle instead. Even in HDG Up mode, the map is still in North UP mode. Happens on all planes tested with the G1000 so far.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
DA62, C172, Bonanza, etc

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load in with any G1000 plane. (DA62)
  2. Look at the MFD when flying.
  3. See that it does not show where the plane is pointed.

• It’s an AHRS alignment bug. After the AHRS aligns itself, the G1000 system does not switch the bug over to an airplane icon.

• This is on the stock Cessna 172 G1000

I have the same problem. When Track up is selected the screen changes to Track up, but when HDG up is selected the screen changes to North up

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

No Track vector and Alt Arc on G1000 MFD when these options are activated in menu in MFD, see the picture below.

Every time on every flight I activate Track vector and Alt Arc

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Free flight
  2. Activate Track vector and Alt Arc in MFD menu
  3. Change heading/vertical speed

I guess its the same thing with the Caravan?

I concur with this report. It affects career mode as well. Some strange things going on with GS in relation to wind and TAS as well, will file a separate bug for that later.

Matt posted that on their discord

‘‘Yes, this is an issue with the aircraft electrical setup, and not the avionics, we recommend to report it on the forums (same for the caravan)’’

I am having this problem as well. In fact, I had the same issue during the Tech Alpha and reported it on the forum.

I can also confirm this issue. It is present in several models, including but not limited to the C172 Skyhawk, DA62, and Cessna Grand Caravan.

@k3nstr1092 i think you are correct, i just tried the da40 now and on that aircraft it was working correctly after it finished aligning, even the heading track worked.
