G1000 only shows dot instead of plane and course line

Hello everyone,

in FS2024 the G1000 shows only a white dot as aircraft. No course line and aircraft symbol is on display (see picture). Does anyone know if there is a possibiliy to change this view?

I think it’s a bug. I noticed it too in the C172. It’s also in the PFD.

Yep, I noticed this too. Also, why no G1000 NX default on the planes ?!

Yep ive seen it on several aircraft… Is the WT g1000 not in the default aircraft?

I have the same problem. Does anyone know if this can be changed in the G1000 settings? I searched but didn’t find any option.

I’m not aware of a settings option, we have to wait till they fix it.

Same problem with the Cessna 172 Skyhawk

you can switch to heading up mode using the menu button but I could not enable the arrow icon for the plane

Bug reported here: G1000 MFD is not showing aircraft track or heading

For now, click on MENU on the MFD and then change the setting from HDG UP to TRACK UP, and then at least the map will be oriented towards where your plane is flying.
