Just to double check, you are using the FLP button on the MFD, not the PFD?? I’m not seeing an issue with it showing the METAR when I select an airport ICAO coded waypoint on the MFD. You can’t see it on the screenshot (because it’s hard to grab the shot when it’s actually flashing on the code!!), but I’ve got the cursor highlighted on the KMVN code, and it’s showing the METAR data below.
