I wonder if it’s only me: when I have installed the Garmin NXI mod from the marketplace some of my aircraft have significantly lower power. The Cessna 208 for example barely makes cruising speed of 120 kts (versus 160 kts). Apart from that the ITT and NG are flashing red, even with the throttle at 50 percent, RPM 1800. OAT 14* Celsius. As soon as i uninstall the mod and restart, the problem is solved. Int the Carenado Seminole i did not pay so much attention to the engine values, but I noticed the same significant decrease in cruising speed. Any ideas - because i actually like the Nxi?
edit: just noticed a huge IAS drop from 150kts to 80 kts when approaching destination. QNH rose significantly - so it might not be connected to the NXI, but to a bug in the weather system???
Do you have the C208 improvement mod? I have it and cruise well into the 140-150 range depending on power/prop settings. That’s with the Nxi.
No i don’t have it right now. I just realized, when i was approaching my destination, that all of a sudden the QNH rose and my speed dropped by 70 kts (2000ft heigt). So it might not even be connected to the Nxi at all - very strange.
