It seems to me that the EC-135 helicopter has received an update.
Unless this is due to some change of my graphics settings, it appears that the windscreen has been significantly de-snotted, and I no longer need to reduce Raymarched Reflections below HIGH for a good view. There are still some scratches, and what appears to be some distortion around the sharpest bend in the glass, but this is what I would actually expect to see in the real world.
Last time I checked out the EC-135, I seem to remember that it required a pronounced left-bank attitude to fly in a straight line, which seemed excessive. This is no longer the case.
I just found myself really enjoying a flight with this aircraft, something that wasnāt happening before the update.
However, I am not a real-world chopper pilot, and just because I now find the EC-135 ānicerā to fly doesnāt necessarily mean it has become more realistic. Thus, Iād be interested in the opinions of people who actually know something about helicopters.
Hi Cuckoo, Iāve got the same cpu & gpu as you & am not getting the mini freezes or tearing, I think youād get better help from filling in the Bug Reporting Hub/Performance & Graphics category - [READ FIRST] About the Install, Performance & Graphics category - #2 (hope that link is correct!)
Also even here in General Feedback give us all a bit more info - In the air or on the ground, where? Default scenery & planes? Clear or bad weather? Then what your own sim-settings are (not every single one though) - med/high/ultra etc?
One other thing is to try again a different day, or even just hours later, as sometimes the servers might be loaded with users (Iāve read in here that we are fed from different servers than people using SU 4)
Is anyone else having a problem accessing the Navigraph FAA Sectional Charts from the in-game Navigraph panel? The FAA charts seemed greyed out and nothing happens when I click on that line. Not sure if this is an SU5 beta issue or not.
If the stuttering appeared in the SU5 beta and does not occur in SU4, that would indicate a regression. In that case, it would be best to create a new topic and report the bug in the forum section linked below. Install, Performance & Graphics
Had a excellent flight today from Pisa to Heathrow in the a320. Very smooth from start to finish. The view of the alps through the cloud cover was spectacular.
I was not around to update to the latest SU5 beta update the other day when it came out so tried to do that today and there is a major outage on the Xbox servers that are preventing updates. This is also happening on another game I have on the Xbox Game Pass PC app. I donāt see anyone else posting anything about this but Xbox support tells me this is real. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am in Spain so that might decide which server I am attached to. For me MSFS 2024 is a brick right now. I reinstalled the Xbox app hoping that would cure it and it seemed like it might but then all downloads halted again.
I always fly in my homeland (Sicily) and lately Iāve noticed many more pylons during landing (which actually exist) so they are definitely implementing this aspect⦠even if at night they are not illuminated (in reality they are) and sometimes depending on the light they lose making it not seem like a bugā¦
Agreed. Current build is the worst of the current beta builds for me. Not inherently more stuttery for me, just lower frametimes in general (which leads to stutters when I donāt have enough headroom anymore).
Friendly reminder.
If youāve downloaded and installed everything you could, donāt forget to head over to Marketplace ā My Library and grab updates.
