Same issue here. I have not seen this prior to the last UK World update. Already created a zendesk ticket too plus screenshot.
Looks extremely bad. What a shame.
I never had an issue with the clouds before the last major update. “Fixing” that has caused this. Looks like a mask from applying blurring to the clouds.
Much prefer the older clouds.
This is supposed to be fixed with Sim Update 3, which is less than a week away. Let’s hope it goes away completely, and that the update is not delayed again…

Seems it’s fixed now, very happy about that! Just did a test flight, EGGP Liverpool, real weather, clouds broken 3400ft, overcast 4800ft. No signs of halo or glowing effect around objects - performance seems decent too, definitely not worse.

After lots of testing, I too can confirm that the issue seems to be totally gone now.
