I am downsizing and simplifying my sim and in the process, have removed two monitors.
This caused quite a few “dominos” to fall and the next time I started up my sim all the displays were muddled up and had to be re-organised.
However, just one window I cannot find anymore.
This window is the GNS530 that can be popped out of the Baron’s analog radio stack which I had displayed on a small screen in my own radio stack. This little monitor has not been changed at all but the GNS is not displayed there any more.
Does anyone know how I can retrieve this window?
Try the following;
• Set the sim to “Full Screen”
• Load to the airport
• Pop-out the screen you wish
• Press ALT+ENTER to go to “Windowed” mode, NOTE: do not press anything else or move your mouse
• Press ALT+ENTER again
This should bring the pop-out screen back to your screen, in front of the main window.
@skypilotYTS that was a partial solution thank you for your contribution.
The ATC window became visible and that is great.
However the popped out GNS530 remains unseen. I wonder if there is an editable .cfg file somewhere that records the location of the top left corner of the popped out GNS window??
The locations are saved in your cloud save profile which can be manually cleared.
Make sure you pay attention to this part of the disclaimer;
Warning: Deleting the cloud save will wipe your logbook permanently. You will not lose the achievements already unlocked on this profile but progression towards achievements and the logbook information cannot be recovered.

@skypilotYTS Thanks for that information.

Had the same issue of disappearing pop outs after I’d changed my monitor layout and just couldn’t get some of them back. Resetting the cloud save fixed the pop up issue but it also resets all the control options. I wonder if pop out panel manager can prevent this happening? MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager (with Touch Panel Support) [v4.0.3]
@playerdav3422 yes I will try POPM. I’ve used it before but didn’t get on very well with it and removed it. There has been significant improvements I believe so I’ll have another try and see if I can get my GNS back to the screen it used to be on.
