Listening to a podcast last evening, a guest from the Royal Institute of Navigation in UK was explaining the risk to Aviation and Shipping from the GNSS interference - refers to anything that disrupts a ship’s (and aircraft’s) satellite-based positioning signals usually caused by: Jamming: blocking or overwhelming the satellite signals with noise so the receiver can’t get a position at all; or spoofing: feeding the receiver false satellite signals so it reports a wrong position that looks legitimate.
He explained what aircraft (and shipping but not relevant here) could do to ameliorate the risks. So I will just put in the info here that I have found that explains it. Civil Aviation GNSS Interference Mitigation | Helix Geospace
This is the recommendation
