Also an i9 10900 and RTX 3080 user here, and I don’t want to tease but my experience is vastly different. At almost 4k (I have a super wide 1.4k monitor almost equal to 4k in pixels), I get in simple planes and not heavy areas at least 50-60 FPS all day long. For the heaviest of airports and airliners, I will still pull 30-35 the least to date. Never ever I seen my FPS drop into 20s yet with this new system. that is exactly how it goes. I have exact coordinates of where it happens as an example: fly over Torrey Pines gliderport in san diego. I paraglide there often and when I fly there on the sim just over the landing zone cliff, BOOM… down to 20 stuttering FPS… it is clinical. I REALLY REALLY want to know from Asobo what is causing this… No word yet from them? this has got to be a trivial thing to find for them as it is not dependend on system or specs: it is ALWAYS there for anyone.

Ok so identical situation for me here. They NEED to fix this ASAP as all my friends in the sim are hitting this too. Thus not isolated. I have perfect 50-60 FPS and goes to 20FPS and max stuttering. For me the GPU goes to idle almost and my Core #20 is the one pegging and mirroring the GPU workload almost to the dot but in reverse (pegging while GPU is idle).
