Brief description of the issue: Suddenly I now have checkered colors on my cockpit windows and partly on the plane outside. Have rebooted several times. First time it has happened.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the coloured glass like that, but pink planes I’ve definitely seen, and its always been livery related. In my last case it was where I had modded a default plane incorrectly, and it couldn’t find its liveries, so not an addon but for certain livery related.
I have not downloaded any third party app or add ons. Just basic stuff from the menu . I hope I dont have to do a complete reload of the Programe again. Any way around it I wonder?
I am experiencing this from a day 1 fresh install. I am just dabbling in it to see if I want to really give it a go.

Brief description of the issue: Checkered colors on my cockpit windows and partly on the plane outside.
This happened on a clean install. I have rebooted, changed graphic options (disable TAA, switched to other AA methods, turned off all AA methods, changed the number of monitors etc.), I downgraded to 466.77 (or whatever the last nVidia driver that was said to have been good and still had the issue. I performed a clean install of the game and kept the old video driver. Currently went back to 531.41 nVidia driver.
It’s on most planes. I can use the DC3 and Airbus 310 without issue in the “free flight” mode. The problem is I am new to the game, and I need to do the tutorials and they all have the issue.
Well I bit the bullet and just did a new installation which on hind sight was the best thing to do. Didnt take too long and its said its good to do a fresh installation after lots of updates. Otherwise I could have spent a lot of time chasing a solution which may have never come.
I didnt get any good feed back to what causes the problem but good luck with it

Same problem. have tried Steam file verification and uninstall/reinstall.

Same problem checkerboard on all windows including windscreen and some aircraft surfaces. Initial steam deluxe install - no addons - downloaded both updates. Everything else appears to work just fine except free flight.

I just bought the game and installed with without any add-ons, all vanilla state.
I too encountered similar issue when I was flying on A320neo and I tested with other aircraft like Cessna. The checkered color box is covering the cockpit glass and plane outside. But when camera set to exterior view, the surroundings are fine.
