ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: In the UK in winter (I was using live time/date and live weather), fields become brown as you fly over them. This happens within a small radius around your aircraft.

Landscape Seasons effect view distance

Hello there, after having dumped career mode and now properly doing free-flights in FS2024, I noticed an effect about seasons that I haven’t seen discussed yet. It seems to me, that there is clearly a "viewing distance" for the seasonal effect. And this distance is currently much too low. This is especially noticeable in external view. I tried to replicate. I flew over South Wales. Had to use a Clear Weather Preset, since I couldn’t find anywhere in the UK lowlands that wasn’t heavily overcast. LOD 180/140

Does the Clear Weather preset negate seasonal effects of Live Weather, like snow or brown fields, etc?

You need to be flying in live time I believe, as it appears some sort of seasonal textures are applied. I will edit my original report. Thanks.
