Had put this in the bug reports section, but was told to post it here, as it is missing from the simulator.
ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
Gryoscopic Procession is being modeled in the sim. This is a major part of helicopter flight.
If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Helicopters mainly, but effects all airframes with a rotor or propeller

REPRODUCTION STEPS
-
No gyroscopic forces at the two main points when going from a hover though translational lift into forward flight. As front edge of rotor disk breaks into clean air and producing more lift, should get a reaction 90 degrees later on the retreating blade side, causing a roll, this does not happen. As the advancing blade then transitions into clean air, you should get a force applied to lift the front, which does not happen.
-
No gyroscopic forces as you push past retreating blade stall, when it should be dropping the rear of the rotor disk, slowing the aircraft.
-
Aircraft in forward flight are always canted to one side, the tail rotor should be enough to level the aircraft out, but because gyroscopic forces are not being modeled, the pilot has to use more antitorque input then what is normally required to fly with the airframe level.

This video only uses “right” in terms of the US made Robinson R22-44 because of the direction the rotor spins, but it explains what is happening. Any helicopters with a Euro designed system rotate the opposite direction, which also is not modeled.
