Well at least we can rule out the southern hemisphere.
It is in the south
That’s odd because the shadows look wrong then. Is it definitely south of the equator? Maybe between the Tropic of Capricorn and the equator, but that looks to have been taken mid afternoon and we are nowhere near the southern summer solstice so can’t be very close to the Tropic line.
The picture was taken on 3.1.2021. Yes definitely south of the equator.
I‘m not away but my Windows went haywire a week ago and I had to do a clean install. I haven‘t found the time yet to reinstall MSFS as I’m too busy playing Starfield, so I can‘t take any screenshots atm. Will reinstall it sometime this week I guess.
Same here
Yes, that’s it. But confirmation was not needed of course…
Well according to the picture name, it’s Babati Tanzania…
Google confirms. Is that cheating?
Ok your turn. I will be more carfully with the picture names.
If Parorng is devious, he’ll place a red herring in his picture title.
Oh that’s hilarious, I had no idea that there was a visible name.
It’s been a few days, so here’s a hint.
I was being literal about the herrings. Perhaps it’s close to their catch areas.
There’s no such thing as red herrings as a type of fish. Perhaps a country nearby would be associated with that colour. Perhaps the livery has similar colours to their flag…
My first guess was Isle of Man, but I don’t find that place.
I’d say Norway but no way I’m finding that island any time soon!
From the beginning my guess has been temperate or subarctic climate and most likely a country with communist or totalitarian past. So I’ve been searching in a large arc around the Korean peninsula, but can’t find it.
I’m thinking Netherlands might be a good place to look?
My last guess, Kronstadt, Russia.
