Guess where?

OK, Annecy is just 50 km from my home… I did some summer jobs there in the past !

Here’s next one :

(not America)

Yup definitely Annecy. Gorgeous place.

Ahh, my sister lives nearby you then too, although on the other side around Bonneville area.

Is that Mount St. Helens from the north west? (13mins)

South of Germany

Does that include South America? Looks a bit like Chile.

not St Helens / not south Germany, it’s indeed a volcano

Got it. Mount Ngāuruhoe in New Zealand.
I really like the procedurally generated snow in that screenshot. It often doesn’t look that great, I think, but here it looks very convincing, as if it was part of the imagery.

Yes, I was speaking of “America” including north / south, Chile, Alaska…etc…
So it’s a volcano, not in America, not in Germany

Yessss, you got it !

I don’t have a PC and can’t upload any screenshots at the moment. I know, I probably shouldn’t have participated in that case, but I couldn’t help it.

Someone else wants to play ?

I can’t get on PC until this evening either (about 6 hours)… so anyone else that wants to can put one up!

OK…

(probably easy)

Shot in the dark: Star Wars Canyon?

That’s what my thought was too, but i think the mountains are too tall…. Maybe somewhere in Central Asia?

Yes… you’re getting close.
On my plane’s altimeter you can extrapolate a ground at around 8000-9000 ft
