Absolutely! Great find. How did you do it?

The main architect is Ashok Bhalotra. He invited many other architects to build a quarter, called Kattenbroek, that would remind people of their travels through Europe. That’s why one sees a wonderful mix of Italian, Spanish, and Greek influences. But also a mix of houses in different price categories to create a mix of people of all society. In the early years many busses full of tourists from all over the world came over to have guided tours through this mini village.

It’s a great place to live, and I consider myself very lucky to have found our dream house here, which actually is the third house I’ve bought in this quarter.

Your turn @mbraortns

The “wink” is easier to see in this view.

Ahaa, I see it now, and I see that the ring is a canal. I have been looking for road intersections with the outer ring.

Thanks

If you hadn’t said it was in the Netherlands I never would have found it but I’ve been casually perusing the aerial imagery looking for that key circle. The weird thing is that I found another one similar but with no ‘wink’.

I’ll be back with my riddle after I find one I like.

I’m a big fan of ‘patterns’:

I doubt that will be too difficult but, if it is, I’ll come back with clues.

Must be in the US, with the baseball fields…

Well, baseball is played in Japan, too, but there appears to be both a football and soccer field, so with the tract housing and open woodland, I think you are right @ShiningSteam311 - my 1st guess would be coastal southern California.

Is it near San Francisco?

On a galactic scale, yes – on a ‘how far can you drive in a day’ scale, no, not really.

its west of the Mississippi.

Theres a John Denver song about an Uncle named Matthew… you could fly from where Matthew was born to this place in a C152 within 2 hours.

So, Matthew was born just south of Colby, Kansas. Denver is 166NM away from KCOY, so maybe a suburb of Denver?

I might have found it. Was looking at Denver already before going to sleep yesterday, but only the west, and north parts. After Smothery confirmed, I just needed to open maps, which already had Denver in focus, and skirt along the suburbs once more.

Mountain Vista High School sports park.

Didn’t help that up wasn’t north though😉

that’s it !

I took that pic while marveling at the PG down near KAPA. The in game imagery is actually quite a bit better than the Bing images imo.

all right, @GhostlyFrend , your turn.

Well done! I thought this one would not be too difficult. I was inspired by ‘patterns’, and thought to snap a characteristic Dutch pattern

I did recognize the pattern. That’s how I found it so quick

Here’s one that I’ve been thinking about for this game: Its a countryside TIN region in the US
