Laguna del Laja, Chile.
Yes, that’s it !
I won‘t be able to post a screenshot until tonight (it‘s morning here), so if anyone else wants to post one, feel free.
Hahaha nice one. Macro Mode Enabled
Actually it’s a good test of my theory that the aliens can guess correct from a blade of grass.
Is that an Amtrak train in the background? A clue!
Sorry don’t take me seriously, I got that from the internet not the sim! I’m sure that Google lens would find the site immediately, no idea on real world location, probably involves Photoshop.
I know - tell you what. I’m gonna jump on the sim PC and post an image. I wanted to start the France download before I finish work anyway. 5 mins
Here’s two to keep us busy - posting 2 coz I think one of them is too easy and I won’t have time to get on PC again until this evening

Do we really need a clue?
So, they are almost exactly at opposite sides of the planet.
I suppose we can call it a win if you get either one, not both - it was just a filler and I broke the rules (but hey, it’s “my game” ). But extra alien-nerd points for getting both!
Okay, the first one is Lerwick in the Shetland Islands, UK, and the second one is the West Cliff Colliery in Australia.
100% correct man!!! Lord knows how you got the 2nd one lol. Very good
It was actually not as difficult as it first seemed. There are only a few places in Australia where you have dense forests with such a large piece of cultivated land in between, so I only had to check out 2-3 places.
The next one may look very difficult at first glance, but it should be doable as there are some strong clues in the screenshot. So examine it carefully.
Brisbane? The motorway junction to the airport road.
No. It’s in a different part of the world.
Nice riddle, I let the answer open !
Indeed there are some clues in the picture that can lead to the correct place.
Jep. The most important clues were the yellow zebra crossings. Only country I know who does that is Switzerland
Basel, Switzerland between the German border and the Rhine. The river is the “Wiese” (which irritatingly means meadow in German…)
Yes, that’s it. Very exact actually. I thought the yellow zebra crossings would lead to the solution. Well done, both of you.
Palazzo dello sport in Rome.
It was built for the 1960 Olympics.
