Hi everyone,
Has anyone tried the new Winwing throttle? I’d love it if someone could share their experience with this gadget. Thanks!

I played with it at FSEXPO - Felt good. firm, heavy and good detents. I don’t expect it to be actually available and deliverable for another 12 months tho. They take forever to actually produce their stuff once announced.
Its a available for pre order now. How long it takes to get those pre-orders shipped out though is another story
Happy with what I got, and the products that I got from WinWings - The throttle looks great, however, it’s large and it’s going to take a lot of space that I do not ahve XD
Would need to redesign my space layout. Already own 4 of their products, I have thought about ordering another part from them, but I need a bigger bout XD
Looks like they are bringing out a lot of new products. See https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/t8sYV-QkeJI
Do you have the Ursa minor Airbus sidestick? If so, will be great to know your feedback.
Yes, I’ve got the Ursa Minor Airbus sidestick, and honestly, I’m really impressed with it. It’s a massive step up from the Thrustmaster Airbus stick I was using before. The first thing I noticed is the build quality, it’s much heavier, feels solid in the hand, and doesn’t have that cheap plastic vibe that entry-level sticks usually do. Everything about it feels more premium, from the finish to the way it sits firmly on the desk.
Another big improvement is the design. Gone is the ball-style mechanism, which always felt a little toy-like to me. Instead, the Ursa Minor has a much more professional setup. The twist/rudder input is designed and engineered exceptionally well, providing a smooth, precise, and consistent feel, so you don’t experience the “springy” or loose feeling when you need fine control.
The ergonomics are excellent too. The sidestick feels natural to hold, with just the right level of resistance in movement. It’s not too light and not overly stiff, exactly the balance you’d want for accurate flying. The button placement is also very practical, meaning I don’t need to stretch awkwardly or hunt around mid-flight. Over longer sessions, that comfort really adds up, making the flying experience more enjoyable and immersive. Compared to the Thrustmaster, this feels like moving from a casual entry-level piece of kit to something designed for enthusiasts who want a more authentic Airbus experience. The extra weight and sturdiness make it feel closer to real hardware, and that makes a huge difference when you’re flying for immersion as much as fun.
Overall, I’d say the Ursa Minor Airbus sidestick is a fantastic upgrade. If you’re an Airbus fan or you fly a lot of aircraft in MSFS or X-Plane, it’s definitely worth it. I’m really glad I made the switch, and I’d recommend it to anyone who’s looking for something beyond the basic plastic sticks.
Yes, I completely agree with your experience as I also own the Winwing URSA MINOR Airbus R joystick. Now I’m thinking of purchasing their throttle system, which looks so realistic…
Just keep in mind that it’s not a small unit, XD
How on earth did you guys get them so fast?!?! I’m still waiting for WinWing to ship the EFIS I ordered 2 weeks ago
