Have not been accepted into the marketplace program yet!

3 weeks ago I submitted an application for the Microsoft Flight Simulator Partner Program and no decision has been made on if my team is approved into the program. I would like to know if there is just a large backlog for approving developers into the program. Have other Devs have been approved into the program in the past month? I have tried asking MSFS support about this but they have not replied.

Tomorrow it’ll be six months since I applied, and still nothing.

Ok looks like maybe Microsoft have stopped approving developers into the program.
Or maybe every few months they are accepting large batches of people into the program?
Makes me wonder if I will ever get accepted.

heard a similar thing from an airport developer who already has many highly popular (and amazing) airports and airfields available at flightsim.to. :frowning:

If we get enough people complaining about this maybe Microsoft will notice and do something about this

I think they are overloaded with work. If they cannot release necessary updates already now, how should they scope with additonal devs?

I think that’s a separate topic. New entries and updates to the marketplace have always been painfully slow. That’s why I don’t buy there anymore. It’s more work keeping stuff up to date manually but I am also not prepared to wait weeks longer for updates or new products for no obvious reasons.

There are hintsa that MS are working on the problem and they will eventually get it right. But maybe until then they don’t accept new devs?

6 months is a long time to fix one thing. Maybe Microsoft should just accept every dev and addon that looks legit, but then they run the risk of having stupid content in their in-game marketplace.

They already have. Lots of it. The approval procedure does achieve nothing obviously.

Incredible that Captain Sim has been in the MP for 2 months now yet legitimate and good developers are treated like this? What gives @Microsoft ?

Even well known developers like just flight having problems with that. What is weird that low quality addons are easily accepted. They probably giving a way for xbox compatible ones first. I have no other explanation.
