Heads up mode, landing view mode, cockpit view upper

Sorry about the all caps…not shouting but thats how those items are listed in the options menu. nvrmind - it automatically removed the caps.

I really think a LOT of bugs could be fixed if the user interaction system were redone and simplified. It appears to have been done by several groups of people and none of them knew what the others were doing. For example, under General Options>Camera you can find ‘HEAD UP MODE’ and the description says ‘hold the input’, or ‘release the input’ or ‘tap the input’. It never tells you what ‘the input’ is… thats for you to define elsewhere. So you would think you could search for and find ‘HEAD UP MODE’ but it doesnt appear to exist that I can find. What you do have is ‘LANDING VIEW MODE’ and ‘COCKPIT VIEW UPPER’. I really have to assume that HEAD UP MODE and LANDING VIEW MODE are the same thing as all I ever do is press the Spacebar to toggle the landing view.
Yesterday I changed my FREELOOK MODE and FOCUS MODE from ‘Toggle’ to ‘Hold’ expecting it to break something in the way I do things but I can’t see any difference.
I think Asobo should review all of their modes and settings. any thoughts?

Yes, the key bindings and their descriptions are very confusing at times.
