Hi guys, I am so fed up with default helicopters and looking for a decent helicopter. I can’t decide between these two options. Flight model and texture quality are important for me
Both are excellent and very different - graphics in both are very well done - the MI-2 is very nice inside - feels like a Russian bird. Bo105 is a polished modernish helicopter that is very fun to fly, has a different flight model compared to other helos - aerobatic, turns and moves quickly - great for running river valleys. One of my favorites now and I own all of the helicopters in the game.
Also really enjoy the MI-2 because it is widely different - a cold war 1960s helicopter that will do 100 knots, no stability systems, requires attention to your flight path - you can’t whip this one around when you miss a turn. This is more what it was like when the smoothness of flight was 100% up to the pilot’s ability. But once you get the MI-2 in it’s groove it handles great and very responsive.
The MI-2 requires more work to fly with more rewards when you handle it right. The Bo105 is more familiar but also easier to fly on long routes. Both are well deserving of purchase for any helo pilot IMHO.

Sadly I don’t have too much time for simming. So I have to chose one. From the videos I have seen, mi2’s cockpit is a piece of art. Bo-105’s exterior on the other hand, looks better. I am very confused
You can’t go wrong. Both are very enjoyable to fly. The MI-2 requires more work but also provides more satisfaction for learning the bird, and does have great graphics. Bo105 more like what you would normally expect in a well done modernish helo. IMHO it’s all about if you want something very different - choose the MI-2. It has the same 1960’s feel of the Taog’s Alouette III.

You tagged this as MS2024 so it’s worth noting that the 2024 version of the mi2 is not fully released yet.
The 2024 native version is released in early access, but you wouldn’t notice - it flies, operates and handles great. That’s what I am flying. Here’s the roadmap - the early access is still a fantastic bird.
The involvement and focus of this developer is also a big plus for me.
I also forgot to mention a big plus for the Bo105 - lots of different attachments (smoke, searchlight, military) and setups you can fly in - a natural for career mode. The MI-2 has none of this currently.
