Help me fix this Raymarched Reflections issue please

Help me fix this Raymarched Reflections issue please, it takes 1-2+ secs to load reflections like seen in the video while changing cameras. It loads them very slowly now. Every reflection was loading almost instantly before while changing cameras, like 0.1secs or instant. Now it slowly blends and loads into full reflection in about 2+ secs.

At video 04:48 you can see it is so obvious, it takes 2+ secs.

It started couple days ago while trying to fix the game “Always starting Windowed” issue. That thing was causing VRR Gsync to not function correctly and limiting my fps to 60 instead of 120 (LG C1). I changed only “Windowed 1” to “0” to test on UserCfg.opt file, sadly reflection issue began to happen, i possibly changed raymarched settings also but put it back to Ultra settings at some point.

I deleted nvidia shader caches both DX and GX caches
AppData\Local\NVIDIA\DXCache\ - , cleaned SceneryIndexes, used windows Disk Cleanup to delete DirectX Shader Cache and more, deleted all temp files in windows 11. Tested without Community Folder.

The thing is i was having same exact issue on Xbox series X couple months ago. I switched to 7800x3D 4070 32gb Win11 and never experienced this issue until couple days ago with that “Always starting windowed” issue seen here Sim always defaults to "windowed"

Game downloaded something from Cloud while testing UserCfg.opt windowed options and issue started to begin.

I don’t know what else to do to fix this and return to back normal reflection loading times as before. I was so enjoying game again without any issues graphical or CTDs etc. I was optimizing the airports with SDK to achieve 80-120fps without framegeneration. Using DX11, tested DX12beta also it was still the same with reflection load times, at Dx12 beta i can barely see Rain particals on cockpit or ground waters, it was like 10 times less than DX11. Switching back to DX11 fixes this rain partical issue. Same reflection issue happens on some aircraft’ cockpit parts also, reflection surfaces loading slowly just like in video.

Is there something on the cloud saves causing this? Like i used Xbox series X for MSFS2020 before, switched to PC. Everything was perfect on PC and it began to do the same issue on Xbox series X on pc now. I am seriously lost and don’t what else to do to solve this issue. I even deleted “Localstate\Cache and DCE folders” , deleted SystemAppData\wgs files incase it is related to this issue, because there is no other places to check delete caches. Yes restarted PC. Checked windows updates and more.

Help me please, i was tired of this issue for over a year on XBOX, and now started on PC. Thanks.

edit: Restored the sim to its vanilla state as mentioned here https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408886545938-How-to-restore-the-sim-to-its-vanilla-state-to-get-back-in-game , it is still happening with default airplane, airport LICJ Asobo/microsoft.

Avangel has the same issue from youtube :frowning: First 1min of video you can see the late reflection loadings https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/qA9ARD6Rv4I But not everyone experiencing this issue as i see.

same issue,
i’d assume DLSS could help, as well as turning off TAA.
but this is a regression

I tried everything and only option left is to clear my account profile. Experienced this while on Xbox Series X always. Switched to PC and never experienced this for months until i opened this topic. Raymarched reflections was loading instantly. It started randomly and still couldn’t figure out. I closed Raymarch reflections for now. It is caused by Devmode? SDK? I was editing airports to get more fps with rectangle exclusion method, parking cars, static planes etc. After seeing Avangel also experiencing same issue i gave up testing. Hope it is fixed on SU15. If not, it is ok, i can live without it. Have a great day.

Don’t clear profile
I think its a sim update they made that caused this regression.

The only things I can think of are turning off TAA to reduce additional temporal accumulation time (by removing the temporal accumulation aspect of TAA entirely), or using DLSS which may have better temporal accumulation time.

Other than that, the only other things I can think of is running the sim at a higher framerate, which should theoretically again reduce temporal accumulation time.

I think there is an internal denoiser for the raymarched reflections which is currently bugged / broken that causes this issue.

Sadly i tested with DLSS (or DLAA) + 80-120fps (without framegen) before and problem was still there. Imgur: The magic of the Internet Tomorrow is SU15 rerlease day it seems, fingers crossed. Have a great day.

same issue for me on su15 beta
