I myself learned basics mostly from Youtube. For start lean to use AP for simple holding altiude ALT and direction HDG. It is useful on longer flights. After that using navigational aids like ADF and VOR, ILS etc. There is lots of things that you need to learn, but is rewarding when you learn how to find airport in dark or make some difficult approach in low visibility passing through clouds.
