Hide Annoying Messages in MSFS!

Following the issue with the “SHIFT + C to Exit Aircraft” message and after creating a mod to remove it, I read several user comments mentioning that some messages are intrusive or annoying. I waited for Asobo to fix the SHIFT + C to Exit Aircraft bug to see if they would offer an option to hide such notifications, but they didn’t.

So, as I mentioned before, I decided to work on an addon, and it is now functional.

Before publishing it on flightsim.to, I’d like to know if other messages bother you:

For now, the addon can hide:

  • Enter Aircraft
  • Your controller has been disconnected.
  • Resource usage exceeds GPU memory capacity, lower graphics settings for better performance

If you want other messages to be included, please let me know the exact text, preferably in English.

The advantage of this addon is that you can choose which messages to show or hide via the panel/toolbar. Your preferences will be saved, and only the messages you select will be hidden.

Brilliant! The memory one is all I want. I get it constantly, and my performance is just fine.

Thanks so much for the “Enter Aircraft” one, walking around in VR is now 477x more immersive (scientifically measured)!

Not possible to mute the sound; I don’t have access to the event that triggers the sounds. Isn’t the sound part of the “user interface” sounds? If that’s the case, other than muting the UI sounds, I don’t see any other solution for now.

Just tested and yes, the beep is part of the user interface sounds. I disabled it and the sound is gone. Thanks for that!

I’m very happy about this as the VRAM Usage message is really annoying.
Additionally, I would be very happy if the model names of all aircraft were displayed in multiplayer like in MSFS2020.
