Is there any way of hiding the HUD when in the outside view (want to take an image with the HUD in the photo).

Options > gheneral options > camera.
Scroll down and turn off HUD
Save changes.
Thanks but I was hoping for a keyboard command where you could toggle the HUD on or off.

You need this mod… But it’s currently not compatible with the current update version. You need to wait until the developer release an update that’s compatible.
you can use drone mode with insert. I believe the key is C to toggle controls on/off
