It would be useful to hide items in My Library. It should be possible to see a list of hidden items in case it is necessary to make one of them visible again.
I have started to get upgrades for my 2020 marketplace items. Now I have two versions of those items showing up in My Library, cluttering it with add-ons I don’t actually want to use with MSFS 2024. For a handful of items that isn’t a problem, but I have 200+ marketplace bought add-ons. In addition there are those redundant upgrade bundles from Standard to Aviator and everything in between and then there are 2020 add-ons that I just don’t want to use with 2024 anymore. Over time it will become more difficult to stay on top of all with add-ons and their various states (filter for all of them would be useful too), and it would save a lot of time managing add-ons if the decision whether an item is still relevant could be made once.
Ideally the list of hidden items would be shared across systems. If I want to use something on PC, but not on XBox, I don’t need to hide it.

This is an absolutely fantastic idea!

This especially with 2020 content going into an incompatible state as well have noticed a few say permanently disabled etc so being able to hide it would be great also myself have a cheap f22 and the good f22 would like to hide the cheap f22 and pretend I didn’t buy it

Filtering for “disabled” items currently shows me 195 entries. The number keeps growing. This filter is the most important one for me. I use it to check if there are add-ons that should be enabled or managing add-ons that I want to disable temporarily. I don’t really use any other filter in My Library. However for now I have pretty much given up on managing anything, because most of the 195 “disabled” items are useless in that list, like 2020 versions of 2024 add-ons that are enabled. It would take considerable time to “review” all the disabled items and a few weeks/month later I probably would have to do it again. That is just a waste of time and effort that I would rather spend learning the details of a new plane.
Small improvements like marking 2020 versions of add-ons as “conflicting” or some other way, so it is clear without having to try to enable them, would help.
A third state, enabled/disabled/hidden, would allow reviewing add-ons once and then removing them from sight to reduce the clutter in My Library. Everything hidden should automatically be disabled. So if I review the list of hidden items and enable one, it is no longer hidden. If there are ways (filter) to simplify the initial review, that would be great, but the most important thing is not having to go through that process again and again or having to keep lots of notes outside the sim.
Realism, graphics, performance and stability, are most important for the sim, but dealing with user interface and add-on management issues is a joy killer, that seems avoidable.
Anyway, thank you for all the effort that already went into making MSFS 2020 and 2024 and your commitment to keep improving things.

Now that MS is offering various 2024 aircraft in 2020 versions, those 2020 versions are appearing in my 2024 library and cluttering it up even further with superflous/unwanted content.
Did no one think this through?
Perhaps AI programming isn’t as brilliant as y’all think it is.

100% agree with this one. Filtering disabled is all but useless now given the amount of duplicate 2020 content there is. This should be an easy fix would and allow us to see just the unique content that is disabled.
