Honeycomb bravo throttle, delayed again for me

Absolutely gorgeous up there!

This update is now on the Aerosoft site :frowning:

ā€œDue to the current semiconductor shortage, the manufacturer is unfortunately forced to stop production for the time being. Therefore the Honeycomb products will only be available again in autumn.ā€

What a nightmare!!! :frowning:

I have had mine on order since December. Still waiting. I think the worldwide IC shortage is affecting a lot of suppliers. One can only hope that this gets solved and they can start making the Bravo Throttles again. Ever hopeful…

Ordered January here, but there might be a load of Bravos that got delayed with the Suez schimozzle. Hopefully yours and mine might be en route before production stopped.

This just received from Amazon (UK), so there’s my place in the queue gone… :frowning:

Got the same just a few minutes ago.
Appalling business. I gave up and am taking delivery of a Logitech throttle today.

I’d been waiting since early September. If this is Honeycomb they can kiss goodbye any future purchase ideas I had with them.
I know the industry is in a bad way, due to a number of reasons, but to have this after such an epic wait when you hear of plenty people getting their hands on throttle quadrants, while you wait and wait and wait… as I said, appalling business.

Oh well, £250 in my back pocket! What should I buy?

I’ve ordered a Logitech one as well for now.

I think Honeycomb have been victims of circumstance and had a lot of bad luck. That said, I hope they’ve learnt valuable lessons about launch timescales and market research!

Logitech Flight throttle quadrant arrived.
Ok, not the Bravo build I was expecting, but hey it’s here!
Setup a breeze. Buttons 1-6 easily mapped to toggle gear, toggle parking, toggle pitot, toggle anti-ice, heading mode, nav mode. Throttle detent mapped to toggle speed brakes.
Easy, good. Here! And works.

Now that I have a no-Bravo Ā£250 spare, I think I’ll spring for the Behringer X-Touch mini :+1:t2:

Got my " dear John" e-mail from Amazon about them cancelling the bravo unit i have had on back order since September. In the meantime I bought a Logitech Throttle quadrant which i like. I figured it would do me until the Bravo arrives and Ā£60 isn’t too hard to swallow. Wondering now whether to buy a second one for Twin engine planes ? Then maybe in 12-18months time review getting the Bravo.

That might be a great idea, actually.
Gives options for multi-engines and an additional 6 rocker switches too.

I have my throttle detent set to brakes as i don’t have any proper rudder pedals, just my racing one. I am now thinking of going for a X-Touch mini…looks like a fun bit of kit !

That’s the Behringer X-Touch mini on order.
Now need to find out the easiest, yet most flexible, and also most reliable way to configure it for MSFS.

I reckon AAO wins.

That really sucks for you guys. The quadrant really is an excellent work of art.

Mine is coming tomorrow finally!

Got mine today. Seems okay, plays nicely with both Logitech panels and Streamdeck. Quite big, but all in all, I have had worse

Honeycomb make great products, its not their fault the world fell apart when they launched their products. When I received my Alpha I immediately planned to get the Bravo and put one on pre-order, luckily it arrived. In the meantime I used my Saitek proX52. The Bravo arrived and now the x52 flies my drone and has plenty of buttons for other functions. If you can’t get the Bravo you want any other purchase will give you heaps of options and won’t be a waste.
Just my 2 cents worth, we live in difficult times but some are a lot worse off than others.

How about today? My wife ordered the Bravo a month and a half ago and still no delivery. When I inquire about the order, I’m not getting much of a response, if at all. Tried calling the support number and get nothing. I’m not even sure how to request a refund since they’re support zendesk doesn’t respond. It may be too late for my wife to report the fraud to her Credit Card, but I’m tempted to try that next…or the Better Business Bureau. Suggestions?
