All sliders are really smooth and very precise. What bothers me after two weeks of use is the lack of a right thumb stick. The stick at the top left is very unfamiliar for looking around inside and outside the cockpit. You have to let go of the left thumb stick that you use to control the plane. That bothers me a lot, and I’ll probably never get used to it.
This issue was identified early on. I see meridian are also proposing a similar outlay. It’s crazy they are almost going with this. It seems obvious it will detract from user friendly functionality.

Hi, I'm going crazy with the configuration. The honeycomb profiles seem incompatible with Flight Simulator 2024. How did you do it? Did you configure the settings one by one? Thanks.
That’s literally why I didn’t buy it. I like the design better than the Yawman overall, but Yawman did the stick/view placement right and I’m likely picking one up next time they go on sale.
I don’t own one, I have a Bravo for PC and a hotas 4 for PS5 but normally if you go to the EU site they normally have a download. It’s either aerosoft site or honeycomb EU.
Also if you looked at honeycomb bravo bindings YouTube videos, you should get a basic idea of how to bind profiles in msfs 2024.
I would have thought one of the youtubers would have done an echo profile by now. Do a search.
Same unfortunately, NO GO for me, as Im XBOX mouse/gamepad/couching gamer I MUST have left stick for freelook. There is no Trackir for xbox. I don’t think this design will collect many xboxers… Shame… Tbh with my elite2 gamepad I miss just some sliders for power or rpm. ![]()
It might have gyro control (I hope), in which case you can do both simultaneously. If that’s the case, I’m certainly getting this when released for consoles.
You can download profiles from RyaStream … works very good for me.
Honeycomb Echo Aviation Controller | First Look at All The Features!
There is a link to his Discord Channel in the description, where you can download 4 profiles
Hi, thank you so much, you're so kind. I can finally use it!
Well, the missing stick on the right won’t be an issue for me since I use track ir.
But it seems like they only manufactured very few of these controllers anyway. Can’t get it anywhere.
I don’t think so as it never was mentioned anywhere…or was it?
It has hall effect sensors. No gyro, at least not yet. There might be some playstation patent issues with controller gyros. Does anyone else manufacture gyro controls in their controller ![]()
