How big is your MSFS file size (Xbox/PC)

I just checked the file size of MSFS on my series x, and its a whopping 214gb :open_mouth:

I then checked the individual files and it doesn’t seem to tally up, according to the files its more like 150gb or so.

Not got many purchases from marketplace, just some liveries, and I use an 8gb rolling cache.

XBOX owners what’s the file size on your consoles?

Fired up the series X this morning, sitting at 295gb, all WU and various add ons.

Start the sim, says there’s an update to deluxe/prem deluxe content. Sim says I need to free up space(it’s the only thing installed on my X), close the sim and restart it and all my installed content is uninstalled. So looks like I’ll be reinstalling my content this morning instead of flying before work sigh

Ah must be the world updates.

That’s a strange issue you have.

Turns out some other users are having this issue today, sucks but the sim goes on!

That REALLY SUCKS  Jacobes16 Guess I’m lucky, all went well with all my updates this AM. I’m sitting at 227 GB, Run on PC not X Box

if you added a big ‘rolling cache file’, that will be on your storage as well.

Hi, I am a pc user and also did notice how big MSFS has grown on my harddisk (319 GB). It is not just some liveries, it is also all those bush flights, landing challenges, discovery flights, sceneries, mesh data and world updates. And do not forget those planes.

205 gigs, I haven’t finished updating all the new stuff. In the Series S, I’m getting a lot of storage anxiety.

Mine has ballooned to 313 gigs. Dread to think what it will be by SU20

How, exactly, have you managed this on an Xbox?

338gb with 16gb of rolling cache which is fine since i mainly use the xbox for fs anyway

Only 576 GB

I don’t have a Xbox - Mine’s a PC  !

The title originally was (Xbox), so your response confused me.

(When did it get changed to Xbox/PC?)

Sorry I changed it, after someone posted PC file size, PC folk are welcome to. :grinning:
